Sobha Global Campus - Future Commercial Landmark

Sobha Global (SG) Campus is a bold redefinition of the commercial typology, envisioned as more than a workplace. Located at the heart of Sobha Hartland II in Dubai, the one-million-square-foot campus integrates corporate operations, hospitality, culture, and lifestyle into a seamless architectural statement.

At its core stands a 26-storey headquarters tower, framed by thirteen sculpted low-rise buildings, a boutique hotel, retail and dining spaces, an events hub, and a landscaped civic plaza. Anchored by water, art, and light, the masterplan is arranged symmetrically along a raised canal, ensuring clarity of circulation and intuitive transitions between public and private zones.

The client, Sobha Realty, sought a world-class headquarters that would embody brand values, deliver operational excellence, welcome the public, and achieve environmental performance. The design responds with a triple-height HQ lobby leading to a full-scale Sales and Experience Gallery, a 900-seat banquet hall, a 3,000 sqm product launch venue, cafés, lounges, and retail—all interwoven to create a holistic user journey. For staff, modular office planning, wellness zones, and breakout lounges foster collaboration and efficiency, while the executive penthouse crowns the HQ tower with privacy and prestige.

The plaza, designed as a living sculpture, is animated by native planting, sculptural trees, reflective pools, splash zones, and curated art installations. Community life is encouraged through shaded promenades, floating cabanas, and interactive lighting. A signature artwork by Simon Ma and a DMX-controlled multimedia fountain transform the plaza into a stage for civic identity and cultural engagement.

Sustainability underpins the project, with passive design strategies, high-performance glazing, and a podium design that minimizes excavation and adapts to rising water table conditions. LEED Platinum certification is targeted, ensuring resilience and long-term adaptability.

By merging commerce, culture, and community, Sobha Global Campus positions a corporate headquarters as a civic and cultural destination. It sets a new benchmark for commercial design in Dubai: a place where business becomes experience, architecture becomes storytelling, and innovation is balanced with environmental responsibility.
