Colorful Rhyme

The initial inspiration arose from a longing for the vibrant hues of nature. The designer sought to bring the vivid splendor of the outdoors into everyday urban life, infusing every detail—from the form to the color palette—with reverence and passion for the natural world. As a result, the space features plants and soft color blocks that seem to dance together so that when you open the door, you are immediately greeted by a picture-perfect scene. This project embodies an innovative approach that aims to break free from conventional design methods, all revolving around the core idea that an interior space should not merely be functional but should engage in a heartfelt dialogue with its occupants.
[Elevating Spatial Openness]
Upon entering, what immediately catches the eye is how the designer softened the inherent structural heaviness with gracefully curved main columns and side walls. The space is imbued with a bright, expansive atmosphere by directing the gaze along these gentle arcs despite having only one side exposed to natural light. The rolling door casing, crafted using traditional mortise-and-tenon techniques, not only refines the overall lines but also preserves the convenience of pull-out maintenance. These thoughtful design details cleverly achieve a sense of visual spaciousness.
[Integration of Natural Elements]
To echo the vibrancy of nature, the designer employed a diverse array of materials on the walls and partitions, creating depth that mirrors the outdoor landscape. The perforated stainless steel screens allow sunlight and air to circulate freely and serve as an excellent framework for climbing plants. Meanwhile, warm wood tones add an element of natural, unpretentious warmth to the interior, highlighting the delicate texture and cultural depth of the woodwork.
