This project is constructed using a reinforced concrete (RC) structure, aimed at minimizing carbon footprints through highly efficient development practices. It employs materials and color schemes of similar tones to craft the architecture, utilizing intersecting horizontal and vertical axes to articulate the spatial layout. This approach results in an overall appearance that is clean, sleek, and elegantly defined. Employing crystallized glass, a material that faithfully reflects the temporal and environmental changes of its location, the design features an elevated ground floor facade. This architectural choice allows urban pedestrians to experience the unique visual dynamics created by the interaction between the building’s exterior and its surroundings, presenting a subtle and refined visual environment and experience within the urban context. Given the constraints of limited land area and stringent regulations, the design precisely calibrates the dimensions to not only ensure excellent ventilation and natural light but also to accommodate a versatile interior décor. Beyond complying with local architectural standards, it fulfills immediate needs and is adaptable to future expansions or changes in family structure, ensuring the design meets both current and prospective spatial requirements. Situated in a region with distinct seasons, the building planning adopts an integrative approach to achieve consistency between interior and exterior forms, adapting well to the local environment. Through a dialogue between architecture and its context, it faithfully reflects the temporal and environmental changes of the site. By embracing the concept of “returning to the essence of architecture” and employing subtractive design techniques that adhere to principles of practicality and aesthetics, the architecture returns to the pure essence of dwelling and refined aesthetic taste.
