Chongqing The Central Living Life House

In this space, designer tries to reflect the mountain and river landscape of the city through dynamic design techniques, and show the spatial dynamics of convergence, separation, illusion and integration behind the geography.
At the same time, the designer hopes to reflect the historical changes of Chongqing in this space by virtue of the landscape of mountains and rivers, expressing the philosophical view of unity of all things.
In the pure and quiet space of the front hall, the correspondence between the wall and the platform looks like two rivers converging in the main city, which is so magnificent that beyond our description.
The white space is full of a sense of depth. As the visual center, the 13-meter art screen expands the space field visually.
The element of water endows the space with time dimension. In the grand atmosphere, vicissitudes of life can be sensed, and the reflection of life and history reminds our mind.
We aim to extend the geographical intention of Chongqing and the big Three Gorges beyond limitation. The flowing river seems to tell us the vicissitudes and the precipitation of history of Chongqing.
Steps, book ladders and bookshelves are at the end of the space. The two floors are double-height, imitate the layered rock valley with vigor, from which the Yangtze River flows out of the river. We are shocked visually by the grand atmosphere, which perfectly interprets the saying that silence is more powerful than words.
Looking back at the space, we find that the wallcovering looks like a phoenix image, which interprets the philosophy of sage, the immutable characteristic of Chongqing people.
