Luminous Prelude

Project Summary :
"Luminous Prelude" is a sophisticated residential transformation of a 1,423-square-foot (40-ping) shell space in Taipei. The project excels in spatial choreography, seamlessly integrating a three-bedroom, three-bathroom layout with a dedicated study. The design successfully merges French aesthetic principles with high-performance modern functionality, creating a premium living environment tailored for urban luxury.
Design Details & Technical Specifications :
The interior utilizes a high-contrast material strategy: the coolness of marble-patterned porcelain and exotic blue onyx is balanced by the warmth of velvet upholstery and textured wall coverings. A key technical highlight is the integration of back-lit natural stone features, providing both a visual anchor and ambient illumination. Spatial flow is optimized through open-plan zoning, where customized vertical shutters and rhythmic cabinetry provide ample storage without sacrificing the airy, transparent atmosphere. The master suite and bathrooms emphasize a "spa-at-home" concept, utilizing gold-toned hardware and rippled glass to achieve a state of high-end repose and clarity.
