WUHAN MERCHANTS GROUP · CRAPE MYRTLE is located in the Zhuankou district of Wuhan Economic Development Area, where a previously underutilized commercial site is being redeveloped into a four-generation residential area with a 1.3 ultra-low plot ratio. The site is bordered by Liancheng Road Commercial Street to the west, the existing post office to the south, Shenglong International Plaza to the north, and Dongfeng Avenue’s greenbelt to the east. Divided into two blocks by Guanhu Road, the surrounding area is densely populated with mature residential neighborhoods, creating a rich living environment. This new project follows a 1:9 ratio of commercial to residential space. The recessed sections of the plaza create a welcoming front area, expanding the commercial frontage and providing a resting spot for local residents. The site is designed with terraces to resolve the height difference with surrounding roads, and thoughtful landscaping transforms it into an inviting park space.
