Greentown Huzhou Majestic Mansion

This case is located in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, one of the cradles of the world silk civilization. The designer combines the graceful, flowing quality of the silk culture, isolates the imperceptible needs of the target clients, and has created on the basis of the concise, light-toned modern art style an ideal space that conforms to the modern aesthetics and the beauty of modern oriental urban residence.
The designer adopts a modern constructivist method to build a living space featuring low-keyed luxury and exquisite elegance. The general tone is clean and quiet, where the widely used dark wood and ash gray furnishings are adorned with the noble blue of damas to enhance the space identity. While enriching the shades of colors, the cold-warm contrast adds an artistic ambience of quietness and elegance to the space.
The case aims to feature an affordable luxury in its modern style of decoration, and the owner’s needs are considered together with the eastern elements and local stories. In the layout, all space functions are provided while ensuring a wide vision and an ambience of spacious flats. The parlor and dining hall are arranged in the same space, and the two backdrops, one black and one gray facing each other, are each adorned with a picture, one round and one square, creating an interesting contrast. The sofas, cabinets, tabletops and seat angles are all designed in beautiful curves that are as smooth as silk to soften the rigidness of the rectangular space.
The selection of suitable ornaments creates different scenarios in the spaces and merges soft decoration into the hard finishing. The designer starts from the need for quality life, and employs various methods, techniques and props to build an ideal living environment.
