GLORY OF THRONES

With the theme of "Nine Traces of Lingnan, Courtyards Holding the World", it draws on the local cultural context and transforms Foshan impression elements such as the source of culture, the forest of famous scholars, and the hometown of champions in Lingnan culture into scenes, injecting a progressive space of rising step by step into the site and creating a circle ritual journey with oriental spiritual attributes.
As one of the birthplaces of Lingnan culture, the project base here flows with a long history and rich cultural heritage. From the historic Zumiao building to various folk arts, all tell the unique charm of this city. Adopting world aesthetic inspiration and drawing on Lingnan aesthetic elements such as Zumiao, wok-ear walls, Liangyuan Garden, and Tongji Bridge to create a design with warmth.
"Tangible yet boundless, inheritance and integration". With "boundlessness" as the purpose, break the inherent thinking, combine tradition and modernity, and integrate Zumiao culture into the facade design.
The classic oriental architectural double-eaved aesthetic, with an ultra-high window-to-floor ratio of 0.35 and a 270° column-free corner window, breaks the visual boundary between inside and outside the building. Indoor and outdoor coexist, and the living environment is boundlessly integrated.
Use aluminum plates and lights to create a starry dome like the vast galaxy and create a sense of homecoming ritual of walking on the Avenue of Stars. Combine the perforation rate and hole shape of the starry dome, repeatedly polish and carve carefully to strive to show the visual beauty of the building.
