CSC JIUYUE PALACE

The project is located in south portal and Daxing New Town core area in Beijing, China, situated on the west side of Guangyang Street, adjacent to three major themed urban parks (Xinghua Park, Urban Suburbs Park, and the Park along the 5th Ring Road). It aims to create a phenomenal quality-living benchmark by enabling a new lifestyle, new scenario empowerment, new aesthetic experience, and new cultural connotation across four dimensions.
The overall planning and layout follow the philosophy of "natural path" and embrace the concept of "wandering freely" from ancient Chinese philosopher Zhuangzi, incorporating modern spatial techniques to pursue the unity of heaven and humanity, as well as the natural way of life. Utilizing a central landscape axis, clustered landscape belts, and courtyard-style enclosed greenery, the multi-layered landscape spaces are systematically arranged, offering a unique garden, scenery, and story, where every garden embodies a tale. This creates a spiritual oasis rooted in nature, honoring human nature, and achieving harmony between heaven and humanity through the natural way.
With a 1,500 sqm community living room serving as the central axis for the front yard, a grand 224-meter-long homecoming ceremonial axis is crafted horizontally, encompassing five levels of homecoming rituals, embodying the etiquette of the gentry. This ensures that every step towards home is filled with a sense of ceremony. Nine major landscape nodes connect the alleys and spaces within the community, allowing one to experience the transformations of natural scenes through the six elements of light, dream, forest, water, cloud, and fish, wandering endlessly and losing oneself in the moment.
The architectural façades draw inspiration from the poem by Li Bai (translated as "The great eagle soars, riding the same wind, ascending straight up ninety thousand miles"), where the forms and materials sculpt a pair of silver wings poised for flight. "The wings of life" symbolize strength and radiant splendor, soaring high. The layered silver feathers shimmer with golden light, like the legendary eagle spreading its wings and soaring across the skies.
