Groundbreakers 2023 – Ayala Land’s Internal Magazine

Aside from keeping the team united in camaraderie, Groundbreakers has been an effective tool in reinforcing ALI’s core values of Leadership, Integrity, Vision, Excellence, and Malasakit (concern in English) among its employees -- and enabling them to incorporate these values into day-to-day operations. Released annually, Groundbreakers magazine inspires the team to work towards common goals, to be closer in spirit, and to learn more about the organization and its many thrusts.

The theme for the 2023 edition of Groundbreakers was ROOT & RISE, a theme that presents Ayala Land’s strong and steadfast roots that gave rise to what Ayala Land is today, its milestones and achievements, and the strong and vibrant community that we have formed together as an organization.

In order to create more meaningful content for its readers, the Groundbreakers team identified two sets of stories – the ROOT stories, which are stories that celebrate our 35 years and define our role as a future-forward builder of smart and sustainable cityscapes; and the RISE stories, stories that characterize our rise as a company.

Aside from the noteworthy stories related to ROOT & RISE, this year’s Groundbreakers also visually presents “sustainability” in the digital magazine’s design and concept. This shows how Ayala Land is weaving sustainability into its businesses.

This year’s Groundbreakers is especially significant as this contains the milestones and achievements as we celebrate the company’s 35th anniversary. As part of the President’s message in this year’s issue, she encouraged readers to draw from the past and grow, not just in stature but in the sustainability and quality of what we deliver.
