Blue City Peach Blossom Sales Center

This project, located at the southern foot of Dabie Mountain in Hubei Province, lies close to the Bashui River. It is surrounded by many famous mountains and rivers, rich in geothermal resources. Profiting from the unique natural conditions, the project, based on hot spring tourism, creates a high-end wonderland that integrates "spring, fields and health recuperation". The Blue City Town takes the classical Chinese courtyard as the overall architectural style. The interior design, established in the traditional Chinese style, applies modern techniques to build a fashionable space of Chinese charms.

Adhering to the principle of Chinese style architecture, which features axis symmetry to look square and neat, the designer places the sales department of the project on the main axis of the town, to be steady as rock. The building wraps the courtyard in the form of quadrangle dwellings. The space is designed in the theme of Tao Yuanming's "Peach Blossom Spring". Breaking the traditional image of sales centers, it moves the outdoor scenery such as corridor, stream and courtyard into the building, and turns the space into an ideal garden of unique literati temperament and implicit elegance.

The designer applies elegant gray as the overall tone of the space, and adds to the sense of solemnity with the brown color. The moon-shaped gate and windows start the journey of the Peach Blossom Spring. The designer draws inspirations from the traditional Chinese building roof modelling, and applies them to the ceiling to raise the floor height and bring a strong sense of structure to the reception area. The gray marble floor is connected with the reception counter and the background wall to form a three-dimensional landscape painting. The left side of the space is the sand table area, where French windows bring in natural light. A wild goose standing for auspiciousness flies over the sand table. Glass art devices glitter in the sunlight, symbolizing a happy life.
