The project selects the spatial form of Xitang Ancient Town as the overall conceptual layout for the park, with a focus on designing axis landscapes to create a progressive sense of returning home. A long corridor connects the road leading home, and under the corridor, there is great joy in returning home. The outdoor landscape spaces are open like water, with steps and bridges leading home. Alleys run parallel to residences, forming the overall framework of the park and creating places where stories and memories happen. Plants adorn the alleyways, creating a sense of seclusion and enjoyment.
Axis Landscape: The landscape continues the symmetrical layout of the architecture, showcasing a dignified and grand atmosphere. In front of the continuous corridor, neatly arranged shrubs complement the natural stone wall, blending soft and hard elements perfectly. On one side, elegantly shaped pines and interesting sculptures welcome everyone returning home. Walking into the corridor, colorful sand pines and red maples adorn the curved grassy slope, turning it into a temporary garden for relaxation.
Central Landscape: The open lawn space and large paved areas become places for socializing. In the central landscape space enclosed by the continuous corridor, one can find shade under the trees, play freely with friends on the plaza, or enjoy afternoon tea beside the purple wisteria trees and deer sculptures. Here, there are more possibilities for gatherings and activities.
Functional Activity Areas: Every residential space is utilized to create a growth environment for children in the children's playground, promoting education and parent-child interaction. In the wellness garden, people can appreciate both elegance and simplicity, practicing calligraphy and tai chi, experiencing a warm and comfortable lifestyle. The park also features a jogging track and offers a variety of sports and fitness facilities.
Adhering to principles of safety, health, and ecology, and incorporating cultural characteristics, the park is planted with a rich variety of ornamental and flowering plants, creating unique alley spaces and a lifestyle atmosphere that can be enjoyed in all seasons.
