Celebrating its 20th momentous year, Alveo Land continues to pursue opportunities that re-imagine and re-examine the future of spaces in the Philippines.

Alveo believes that intentional architecture and design are crucial to developing a certain standard of living, particularly in the realms of wellness, success, and self-actualization. Showcasing this commitment in a multi-dimensional exhibition, INTER | SPACES: Celebrating the Art of Living Well presents the parallels and unifying principles that intertwine the art of living and architecture.

INTER | SPACES features some of the brightest and most prominent architectural minds who are also visual artists from all over the country, as they show their prowess and personal design philosophies that have guided them throughout their careers. Every single piece was carefully curated to cover the expanse of the design spectrum, ranging from traditional and classic to contemporary and modern architecture philosophies. The likes of Christina Gaston, William Ti Jr., Aramis Corullo, Sarah Pallarca, Nikko Arbilo, Jerika See, Jonas Pacifico, Aliver Escano, Fred Galan, and Gloryrose Dy-Metilla represent the best of Filipino ingenuity and innovation in architecture and design today. A particular highlight is the specially designed piece entitled ‘Lotus’ by Christina Gaston, founder of award-winning Hacienda Crafts. The piece was finished through the collaborative effort of five communities in Bacolod made up of fisherfolk, farmers, mothers, and artisans using endemic and repurposed natural materials such as abaca and buri. Specifically made for Alveo, it takes on a larger-than-life experience that allows individuals to immerse themselves in it, and with the elements that depict Alveo’s values of living well.

Highlighting these artists’ notable works in a new light, INTER | SPACES shows themes of Filipino contemporary culture which influence how we live and work in today's context. It is a creative representation of how art and architecture can become a median for identity, culture, and society, merging disciplines of art, beauty, functionality, and culture into a coherent and vibrant design language for everyone to enjoy and appreciate.
