River Mansion

River Mansion is a private villa designed on the basis of the concept “a perfect life.”By exploring the three main attributes of a house (social balance, spatial balance, and environmental balance), the designers create a warm, elegant artistic atmosphere in a limited space and thereby strengthen the sense of connection between people and the residence.
The construction of River Mansion’s main structure features an advantage of a high floor height. With the elevator and staircase in the middle, the whole space is rounded up and a visual focus added to the otherwise empty space. The open staircase also eliminates the sense of isolation between each floor and enhances connectivity.
As a residence for an extended family, the project incorporates diversified elements(Chinese and Western style kitchens, classical and modern decor, various functional rooms, etc.), offering each family member a unique living area. The materials, texture, interior decoration and lighting of the project complement each other. The natural gray wood color and the wood and stone materials go together well. Combined with the large panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that let in natural light and connect the interior and exterior, a strong sense of balance is created in the entire space. In addition, the residence is designed with open functional areas. Each independent section is connected through a bridge, adding integrity to the space.
