The Bayview Duplex Residence

This case is divided into two functional areas, the reception room/study in the garden and the living space. The reception room is designed for some unfamiliar customer reception purposes, while the living space serves as one's own living space and a gathering space for family and friends. The designer took "Childhood under the Banyan Tree" as the design inspiration for the entire dining room. The isolated columns beside the curtain wall were a challenge that the entire living room needed to solve. The designer combined the banyan tree with the columns and integrated them into the space with modern processing techniques, while also weakening the columns. The combination of the meeting sofa area under the tree and the "banyan tree" reflected the beautiful memories of adults chatting and laughing under the tree and children chasing each other during childhood. The design of the TV wall was derived from the "One Line of Sky" landscape images obtained by the designer on a business trip, so the form of flipping the pages of the book was combined with the fireplace.
The owners hope that the restaurant can be connected, but they do not want the restaurant to be directly exposed under their eyes. The emergence of artistic glass screens better meets the needs of the owners. At the same time, the designer has extended the design theme by implanting leaves into the screen in a gradient array, echoing the main theme. The art pendants in the restaurant come from the works of art in Basel, and the Interior designer named them "the fruit of the harvest".
Because the project has a beautiful view of the the Pearl River near the river, the designer runs through the whole space in the form of flowing water lines in the design of the video room.
The reception room is the only external space in the entire project, and the owner prefers modern Japanese style as the theme, creating an atmosphere of outdoor prosperity and indoor tranquility.
