The black, white, and grey visual style is loved by the male owner, who is engaged in video work, but the female owner has a soft spot for bright yellow. The design is based on achromatic colours, with the central axis combined with simple and neat lines and de-decorative techniques. It cleverly uses yellow furniture and decorative panels to add the finishing touch, delicately balance the homeowners' preferences, and create a classic, cool, stylish home feeling.
As the porch between the inside and outside space, the black cabinet is set against the white wall, contrasting the rational texture of the co-construction, and boldly embellishing the hollow recesses with yellow to form a visual highlight. The one-set cabinet extends from the entrance to the open cooking table. The exquisite line proportions are matched with indirect light sources to create a visually smooth sense overall. It is more intimate to set up glass sliding doors for pets to protect dogs from running out of the house when people come in and out.
The open dining and kitchen space extends, and the arc-shaped grey mud-imitated bar counter is built, a leisure area similar to the island for preparing light meals. The wooden dining table on the side matches each other, injecting a sense of warmth into the personal space. With the linear light above and the hanging multifunctional wine rack design, the customized design creates a unique sense of ritual in life.
The corners in the entrance, studio and bedroom are mostly closed with small arcs to soften the cold linear space. The wooden floor, combined with the non-marking cement dual-material construction method of the floor, the warm tones of natural light, and the delicate design ingenuity, make the space not only classic and meticulous but also highlight the unique and straightforward personality of the space.
