Aesthetics and science collide and blend here to create exciting sparks. The Matrix Element project, located in the West Bund AI Tower of Xuhui District, Shanghai, features overlapping and collision of aesthetics and rationality. It is also a spatial practice in the ideological dimension. In the future, it will advance in the way of data: flow, transmission, and continuity. The designer manages to depict this lightness of form, with imagination, to outline people's vision of the future in the real space....
The design outlines the entire entrance space in a flow line. The ingenious ceiling takes a complete and smooth modeling, and the ground collage sets off with the ceiling curve. The large French window gives the space a bright and transparent sensory experience. The terrazzo ground matches well with the glass, and the rays of different colors interlace to create a sense of beauty between the virtual and the real. The reception space is presented by continuing the form of the entrance, with smooth curves dominating the space. The white LED light strip follows the track of the time, switching in the flow between light and shadow, and the virtual and the real.
Disorder and order build up the order of this space and time. Colors and the black and white voice the inclusiveness of the world. The two forms overlap in the space to perfectly integrate disorder and order, containing colors in the black and white. Here the designer finds the design technique that balances aesthetics with science. The rigorous spirit of judgment reveals the tension in the aesthetics, colliding out a future imagination space in the modern context, and a matrix field of independent style sharing different horizons.
