Gentle French Charm

The project is a renovation of an old apartment. The design team replaces the old wood veneer with lighter colors and trims to create a soft and luxurious French style while the layout and cabinetry meet the client's storage needs. In addition, the design team outlines the delicate carvings on the trims to create a refined residence that meets the needs of a family of four. The sweet family is constantly making both ordinary and gorgeous stories in their home. The new design gives new energy to the space and translates the classic design with modern elements into a French ambiance. The foyer has storage cabinets, and the dust area is made of patterned tiles similar to the patterned glass. Then, the lines and patterns of the wood tiles show the French taste. The square pattern in the public area alludes to the theme of the two areas. The hand-carved trims outline the living and dining rooms, balancing the traditional bowed curves with the modern straight lines and creating a rhythmic aesthetic. As for the private area, it meets the family's preference for color. This area continues the design elements of the public area and simplifies the design of the trims. In the window area, a couch or desk is added to provide a living function.
