Full House

The project started in June 2020, and completed in October 2020 in Taipei, Taiwan. For the exterior appearance, using blue and white color to create home image, which catches the eyes of passerby. Considering feng-shui principles, the designer laid stress on natural lighting and maximized the spaces with light and shadow. Adding gorgeous style to interior space to create modern ambience, the designer took design as a starting point to build a new brand image and presented Chinese cuisine with eastern interior design style.



Entering the restaurant, the fireworks ceiling light overhead seems saying ‘have a great time’ to costumers. The striped mirrors on wall visually enlarge the spaces. The metal screen panels, and matte and gloss floor tiles bring the effect of visual hierarchy, besides they are arranged to divide round table and square table areas. Above the round tables, the crystal chandelier symbolizes ‘complete’, which brightens up family time. The square tables allow small groups and solo diners to comfortably enjoy delectable dishes. It takes Chinese restaurant to another level.



The original house was old and damaged, and the interior space was narrow with low beams and huge columns. After accurately measuring, the designer rounded column edges to add mildness to interior space and increase consistency. Moreover, solving the problem with cooking smoke to comply with government regulations. Outside the restaurant, there is a vertical wall which injects greenery and uniqueness into the interior. Utilizing forma free mineral paint, teak wood veneer, close lightly pebble, and marble to create healthy and relaxing environment; fireproof calcium silicate board to improve safety and durability. And using iron piece and wall covering to give aesthetic look.
