I have nearly ten years of experience in the space design of high-end model houses, sales centers, and private houses. With a kind of eclecticism perspective, I prefer exploring the essential appeal of space, designing the space in line with its own temperament by a more emotional approach.

5 Could you briefly explain about the winning project / title you entered into the 2022 TITAN Property Awards, and why you chose to enter this project?
My team and I are very happy to be recognized by the jury. This is an encouragement for us. We are also grateful to all the parties who were involved in this project. This honor would also us to boldly express the design concept more openly and create more excellent works of self-transcendence in our future projects.
6 What were the biggest challenges you faced with this project?
As one of the "Ya Song" high-end series of luxury Houses by Sunac Group, this project is located in the core area of Chengdu city, which has caused high attention from the developers and the society. The architecture, landscape, and interior space design companies are all great organizations, which are invited into this co-creation design work. It is also a good challenge and opportunity for us to participate in this cooperation.
7 How has winning this award developed your practice / career?
Ya Song is a series of light Chinese-style model houses based on the Song Dynasty aesthetics, developed by Sunac Group. Chengdu, the project site as a newly emerging fashion city, the theme style of the model room was set into modern and simple style. When it comes to how to better integrate the sample room into the whole main aesthetic storyline of the Song Dynasty, it becomes the largest challenge for the team. Secondly, during the landing process, the technical team also faced some problems with the installation and debugging of the new media interactive devices which were used in the project.
8 For Property Developer, Architect and Designer, what makes a “good” property design?
Winning this award is a compliment and recognition of our continuous innovation and self-challenging. It shows us a clearer idea of innovative design concepts in our future design practice and career development, being more determined and confident in sticking to our individual career paths toward design.
9 Describe your property design style and its main characteristics.
At a time when the design market is fraught with a great deal of product homogeneity, in a good design work of real estate, more attention shall be paid to the experience of customers and audience. Only works after careful polishing and thoughtful thinking would succeed and survive in the test of time.
10 What made you / Why did you choose to become an artist / designer / real estate agent / property developer?
Integration, culture, innovation, crossover.
11 What’s your favorite kind of design and why?
The magic of design lies in that you could always create a relevant temperament and cultural connotation with your design skills. Designers are some like magicians waving a magic wand. It is for me the very charm of being a designer.
12 What led you / your organization to become successful within the industry you are currently in?
I prefer the design that explores the way of nature, like the Chinese traditional Taoist philosophical concept of nature. Such designs by expressing the perception collected by human senses are quite wonderful.
13 What makes your country specifically unique in the design industry?
I believe I benefit from my passion and steadfast love for design, and the good habit of continuous learning and extensive knowledge accumulation.
14 Do you think your country and its cultural heritage had an impact on your design process?
Strong cultural heritage, the tolerance and integration of different cultures, new trends and fresh information, and the foreign exchange and learning among new generations.
15 How has the country, you are based in, helped move your industry forward?
Absolutely. In traditional Chinese philosophy, the understanding of the universe and earth, nature, humanities, and technology is more like the code in our DNA, which will as elements appear in our works through different forms of expression.
16 For Real Estate Agent, what does “real estate” mean to you?
With China's revival and development, as one of the pillar industries in our country, the real estate industry matters not only to the national economy but also to the production and life of massive real estate practitioners. It is the industry that the state strongly supports.
17 What are your top THREE (3) favorite things about the real estate industry?
A broader, higher, and faster development platform.
18 Where do you see the evolution of the real estate industry in the next 5-10 years?
The power of co-creation, broad market prospects, and the possibility of contributing to a better life.
19 What resources would you recommend to someone who wants to improve their skills in the real estate industry?
The speed of rapid explosive development of the real estate industry has declined. Coupled with the affection of the epidemic, more attention is to be paid to the subtle relationship among people, lifestyle, urban architecture, and nature.
20 Who has inspired you in your life, and why?
Learning on the cutting-edge media platforms in this industry, or from the stories and experiences of contemporary legendary designers.
21 What is your key to success? Any parting words of wisdom?
The collaborative colleagues and other leaders. The collision of different thinking and ideas bring fresh sparks and inspiration.
22 Do you have anything else, which we haven’t covered, that you would like to include in this interview?
The path to designing is arduous and long. Only by maintaining a thirsty heart and sensitive sense, absorbing extensive knowledge and ideas all the time, can we generate more vivid design outputs to keep up with the pace of the era.
