Celebrity Square Michelin Restaurant

This commercial Michelin restaurant project with an area of 674 ㎡ is located in Xingguan Road, Nanming District, Guiyang, China, the important ecological leisure and tourism city, also known as the "forest city". Master Zheng, awarded Michelin two-star chef for 12 consecutive years, has brought his well-seasoned Celebrity Cuisine and high-grade Cantonese dishes into this ancient city with a thousand years of historical heritage and cultural scenery.
The designer integrates the Michelin cuisine with the local characteristics, combining them into the space design of the restaurant, and breaks the traditional modes and styles with modernist techniques. Incorporating the unique natural landscape of Guizhou, it transforms the beautiful scenery of range upon range of mountains into plain geometric forms. With shiny rosy clouds and gurgling water as the clue, it links the wandering movement flow, forming a unique, visually attractive space. Under the idea of integrating knowledge and action put forward by the famous Chinese thinker Wang Yangming in the Ming Dynasty, the designer presents with perception the exclusive spatial style and modern life aesthetics of picturesque Guiyang.
The metal, brass materials and textures, set off the deeper depth of space. With the lighting design of great linear tension, coupling with the bronze dark brown, gold, and white colors, the design creates a romantic and elegant spatial atmosphere. Above the public dining area, decorated with lighting installations and ceilings made of imported velvet of heat cutting and setting technique, it brings infinite vigor and vitality to the space, creating a vivid ambiance of poetry and scenery. The private rooms are designed under different themes of mountains, rivers, clouds and sunset glow. The mountain-shaped wood grilles on the wall, dark wooden floor with natural sense and comfort, the metal-rimmed glass partitions with ink paintings, illustrate the profound meaning of Chinese art.
To follow the concept of eco-friendly and sustainable development, energy-saving lights and products with high environmental protection standards are adopted. The designer interprets the design pursuit consistent with the Michelin food concept, based on customer feelings and experience, to create a space with matching style, functions and aesthetics.
