With nature and humanity as the main axis, the house is designed with natural wood veneer, sunlight and greenery to restore a simple and unadorned residential landscape instead of using gorgeous and complicated lines. It is like sprinkling salt to fresh vegetables to enhance the flavor. Everyone can't get enough of the unforgettable freshness. There are many problems when living in the space of two connected living units, such as fragmented layout and poor lighting. After reorganizing the traffic flow and integrating the outdoor balconies, a transparent and healing oxygen-filled wooden residence is built. Upon opening the door, the wooden flooring gives a gentle touch and soothes the mind throughout the day. In the living room, a projection screen replaces the main TV wall, providing a big window to retain natural light while satisfying living needs. A cabinet is constructed at the junction of the structural beams and columns to tailor to the vertical movement of cat. The interior is used as a cat bed and jumping platform as well as storage space. Meanwhile, a cat hole is installed under each door so that cat can come and go freely without restriction. The wood wrapping softens the existing volume. Along with the combination of iron pieces, it adds layers to the facade. The folding floor-to-ceiling windows lead the way to the outdoor terrace. The flooring is made of moisture-resistant and anti-corrosion Southern pine, which is easy to maintain and repair. The recessed area on the wall is used to provide a sink for watering plants, making tea and washing while enjoying the greenery and natural light. The bar is finished in a calm ocean blue, with a grooved surface to inject a sense of movement. The mellow color scheme and delicate lines erase the rigidity of the volume. The contrasting black and white kitchenware is softened by the calm blue color to create perfect balance in the room. In the master bedroom, the wooden elements add tranquility and provide a peaceful ambience for sleep.The raised flooring diffuses an obscure glow, and the ambiguous border leads to a safe traffic flow.
