This project is located in Ningbo, the south wing of the Yangtze River Delta, in the southeast coast of China. Ningbo port is the largest port in the world, and the start port of Maritime Silk Road.
Inspired by the humanities of Ningbo, we use water as the medium, using natural light-shadow and texture of building materials, to capture the artistic gesture of water waves, inject design concepts, and penetrate them into the space, and be active in the space in different ways.
Light spills into the entire space through the illusion of acrylic, nature and art, forming an abundance of spiritual world. The reception area enters the interior, with gray as the base color, softening the tough space of the front desk, and the artistic chandeliers hanging softly as if water droplets are about to drip and combine with modernity. Craftsmanship combines simplicity and beauty of texture.
The crystal linear lights in the stand table area are moved by the concise and refined beauty presented by the overflowing water, trying to make the project retain the memories of the locals.
The large area of floor-to-ceiling glass in the negotiation area introduces natural light and landscape into the interior, allowing space and nature to form as a whole, the clear texture of the building and the natural weather outside penetrate each other, creating a harmonious symbiosis between the city and the humanities.
The furniture adopts Southwestern birch, which has wide adaptability, rapid growth and easy natural renewal. The solid wood frame is not glued, compounded or spliced, and contains less formaldehyde and other harmful substances. The new national standard test for EO grade solid wood multilayer board has reached the ENF level, and the formaldehyde data is far lower than the ENF requirement and less than or equal to 0.025mg/m3, which is close to no formaldehyde.
