This project located in Foshan, Guangdong, adjacent to the vast Bo'ai Lake, the project establishes a paradigm for elevated lakefront living centered on a "slow-vacation" concept. The design deeply integrates the lake's ecology, Lingnan cultural heritage, and the area's industrial identity. It adopts a strategy defined by "Lingnan landscape principles at its core, expressed through Western architectural forms," creating a distinctive Nanyang (Southeast Asian) Haipai style. The development features nine high-rise residential towers organized around a spatial narrative of "island, stream, lake, and forest." This translates into a three-sequence arrival progression and eighteen curated landscape scenes. The design extracts traditional Foshan elements—such as wok-ear walls and Manchurian window tracery—and reinterprets them using terracotta tiles, colored glass, Nanyang patterned tiles, and metal detailing. A 100-meter grand entrance interface, a sunken "floating island" courtyard, and themed open-ground-floor clubhouses connect semi-open spaces adapted to the humid subtropical climate. Furthermore, the project offers innovative, adaptable floor plans emphasizing family interaction. By weaving natural water features and Lingnan floral motifs into the spatial fabric, the project creates an enduring ecological community that balances hotel-like resort living with profound cultural depth.
