Rooted in the profound historical and cultural heritage of Jinniu District, Chengdu, the project integrates Shanghai-style characteristics and aligns with the relaxed, comfortable lifestyle of Chengdu residents. It creates a high-end residence that embodies both Shu-style charm and Shanghai-style elegance, striking a balance between luxury, elegance, and comfort. The design draws inspiration from local culture, particularly the wisdom of harmonious neighborhood relations found in Jinniu District’s Huazhaobi. Incorporating the Oriental philosophy of "softness overcoming hardness," the project fosters a humanistic, co-constructed community.
The open character of Shanghai-style design is seamlessly blended with the relaxed vibe of western Sichuan. With its focus on simplicity and rhythmic design techniques, the project embraces a philosophy of elegance without excess. The layout includes six elegant courtyards, with a grand entrance portal and dual sunken courtyards forming a key visual focus. The main residential area features eight themed art gardens that incorporate modern forest-style elements and artistic installations, connecting nature and life in an experiential way.
The project cleverly addresses the cost-quality balance, using innovative materials like stone-like aluminum panels to maintain aesthetics within budget constraints. Sustainable design is integral, with green energy solutions such as solar-powered seating and rain gardens that allow for natural water infiltration and recycling. Native plant species and low-carbon landscaping further reduce transportation emissions and maintenance costs. These efforts fully embrace the goals of energy conservation and environmental responsibility.
Through its cultural integration, spatial innovation, and commitment to sustainability, the project sets a benchmark for modern residences that blend local traditions with global design trends. It offers a model of how to create high-end living spaces that balance aesthetic appeal, ecological sustainability, and economic feasibility.
