C&D Xiamen Liyue Phase III is strategically located at the core of Jimei's main urban area in Xiamen, embracing the dual dividends of Tong'an Old Town's profound cultural vibe and Jimei New Town's technological innovation momentum. Backed by Beichen Mountain to the north and overlooking Xinglin Bay to the south, it boasts scarce mountain and water resources in the city center. With "Minnan Ritual Order · Three-Dimensional Ecological Mansion" as its design origin, the project deeply integrates regional cultural genes, ecological resilience concepts, and contemporary residential paradigms, creating a new benchmark for human settlements that combines cultural depth, spatial quality, and sustainable performance.
Abandoning superficial imitations of traditional symbols, the design team instead systematically translates the spatial order of Southern Fujian ancient dwellings through architectural language. By abstractly reconstructing elements such as deep courtyards, swallowtail roof ridges, and red brick textures, the project endows the building with a facade vocabulary that blends locality and contemporary aesthetics. The main facade adopts champagne gold aluminum panels, warm white multi-color paint, and Portuguese beige stone, combined with micro-arc chamfers, proportional division, and lightweight edge treatments. While eliminating the sense of volume oppression, it enhances enclosure performance such as thermal insulation, sound insulation, and noise reduction, achieving the unity of aesthetics and functionality.
The master plan adopts a staggered combination of "high-rises + low-density garden apartment".Optimized through multiple rounds of sunlight and sightline simulations, it ensures every household enjoys good ventilation and seamless integration with landscapes. The end units of the townhouses are equipped with 270° panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, and the staggered floor design of odd and even floors forms a north-south dual terrace system. This not only expands living scenarios (such as gardening, tea gatherings, and parent-child interactions) but also enhances natural ventilation and lighting efficiency. Drawing on Southern Fujian's traditional wisdom of "gardens on rooftops and scenery in courtyards", the project constructs a three-dimensional ecological system of "ground gardens + sky terraces+vertical green walls",realizing the seamless extension of greenery from the ground to the air and significantly improving the community's green view ratio and microclimate regulation capacity.
