The project is situated on a rare mid-hill site overlooking Meiling Park in Changsha’s Meixi Lake International New City. Surrounded by nature yet connected to the urban core, it seeks to create a serene “urban utopia” that balances prosperity and tranquility.
The design draws inspiration from the site’s natural ecology—the flowing mist of the hills and the shifting hues of vegetation—translating them into a spatial narrative of “wandering through a forest.” The natural textures of Prada Green luxury stone echo mountain contours, bringing the outdoor landscape indoors. At the same time, the inclusive spirit of Shanghai-style culture infuses the space with understated luxury and warmth, while the poetic elegance of Hunan’s Xiaoxiang landscapes adds a subtle regional character.
The concept, “Urban Green Valley—Wandering through a Forest,” merges urban sophistication with the calm of nature. By breaking the boundary between nature and luxury, the design creates a multi-layered living experience where residents can connect with the city when going out and return to nature when staying in. Open layouts and flowing spatial transitions allow seamless movement between indoor and outdoor environments, evoking the rhythm of a forest walk.
Material selection emphasizes a natural narrative and refined craftsmanship. Prada Green stone, jade, brushed metal, and wood veneer harmonize to create visual balance and tactile richness. Techniques such as waterjet mosaic and Nanjing gold foil craftsmanship convey both cultural heritage and contemporary artistry.
The project introduces micro-ecological systems, intelligent environmental controls, and natural fragrance diffusion to construct a multisensory “forest realm.” Through the integrated design of hard and soft furnishings, every detail—from material to lighting to décor—follows a unified design language, ensuring aesthetic coherence and emotional depth.
Ultimately, the design transcends traditional residential typologies, redefining high-end living as an immersive dialogue between culture, nature, and time.
