In celebration of the company’s milestone 30th anniversary, Avida Land wanted to really connect with its expanded community of stakeholders and employees. So rather than putting out the traditional coffee table book, the brand released an engaging three-volume series Folio entitled The Start, The Art, and The Heart of Home. Taking inspiration from culture and lifestyle magazines, each themed issue had short, easy-to-read articles featuring inspiring stories, anecdotes, and interviews with Avida employees and brand partners. The articles were complimented with archival images, as well as stunning photographs by rising photojournalist Jilson Tiu.
To launch this first-of-its-kind publication for Avida, the team released the three-part magazine digitally, through an online publishing platform starting October 30, 2020, the actual date marking Avida’s 30th anniversary.
