JIAXING ORIENTAL VILLA

Jiaxing, a millennia-old city thriving by water, has witnessed the passage of time, yet the people's yearning to live by water remains unchanged. This project takes water as its lifeblood, integrating water into the garden design, inheriting the tradition of Jiangnan garden design, and creating a demonstration area that showcases the elegant and luxurious waterside residences of Jiaxing. It unfolds like an oriental scroll, exuding the charm of nature.
The grand entrance archway embodies the elegance of Song-style rooftops, with stone inscriptions greeting visitors beneath the eaves, signifying a respectful and honorific sequence. In the central courtyard, a pool of mirror-like water reflects the sky, surrounded by ancient trees intertwined.
The landscapes of the central water court and sunken garden were designed by Ueyakato, while the model home garden and public areas were designed by LANSONG. Based on mutual coordination, both parties worked meticulously to refine and implement the designs, jointly creating the "Cloud Pavilion Water Realm" with great craftsmanship. We have integrated oriental painting aesthetics into the garden's artistry, allowing one to see the grandeur of the country's rivers, lakes, and seas within the garden. The expanse of the central water courtyard resembles the East China Sea, adorned with lush black pines and accompanied by moss and gravel. A pavilion stands by the water, offering a splendid view of the mountains and water, inviting contemplation of one's inner self. Following the natural elevation changes, a three-dimensional sunken garden is created with rock formations and cascading water. The three-tiered viewing platform offers multiple spaces for dialogue with nature. Waterfalls cascade continuously, with the scenery unfolding layer by layer like a scroll. Throughout the garden, one can see trickling water streams, inviting strolls where the rhythm of water engages in a dialogue with nature, evoking the true meaning of life.
For the model home garden, LANSONG extend the imagery of mountains and water into the courtyard, preserving the refined tastes of ancient literati lifestyles while blending contemporary fashionable lifestyles, thereby crafting a daily life scenario of modern oriental gardens.
