Hangzhou Chaoshan Luxury Villa

Hangzhou Chaoshan Luxury Villa, is located in Hangzhou Chaoshan Scenic Area, a national natural and historical Scenic Area，which is famous for its  plum blossom culture since the Song Dynasty

The project is whole integrated professionally designed by LEAP DESIGN, with a total land area of 71.99 acres and a total construction area of about 100,000 square metres.

the project is positioned as a high-end row house and villa community, aiming to create a high-quality low-risey residential typology that enjoys the natural scenic resourcesof Chaoshan Mountain and urban service resources.

The design extracts the history of Hangzhou's ancient capital of the Southern Song Dynasty and incorporates plum blossom elements into the design details, featuring the new Song style, while integrating the historical and humanistic heritage of the ancient rhyme of Song plums in Chaoshan. The overall layout takes the central landscape axis as the skeleton and creates a ‘one-axis, one-belt, eight-scenery, ten-alley’ multi-entry garden experience.

The core strategy of architectural design is to fully leverage the advantages of natural landscapes, incorporating the greenery of Chaoshan Mountain and city parks into the residential area using the technique of "borrowed scenery"， much like traditional Chinese garden design methods.

The second strategy involves incorporating the element of water into the planning layout, guiding water into the garden, and using various landscapes such as cascading waters, waterfalls, and ponds to create a water system that runs through the entire garden. This is integrated with the river landscape structure of the public city park.

The third strategy is to create a traditional living experience within the residential area by combining multi-progression gardens with cultural symbol, to recreate the refined Yaji , the lifestyle inerests of literati from the Song Dynasty.
