The landscape design language carries the historical grand narrative of the memory of the site, integrated into the trickle of the ordinary life of the site. the designer constantly captures the relationship between people and rivers, and sketches the diversified forms of living environment and life mode due to different site contexts. Landscape space is not only an overview of daily life, but also a kind of locality support, interpreting the deep connection between people and the site and nature. The river lapping the bank, the dock listening to the waves, the Baijusi Bridge standing majesticly, it is these elements that make the site quite rare in the west bank of the Yangtze River in Chongqing.
In the design, the echoing elements with the "river flowing" are naturally displayed. The symbols such as the tide, river lines, reef banks, stone beaches and the sturgeon in the stream spread out along the street level of nearly 500 meters. The linear space of experience can be opened and closed as freely as a treacherous beach of the river.
The design goal of this project is not only to arrange a gorgeous reception space for the early sales of the project, but also to present a preview declaration of the future blueprint of Chongqing West Bank along with the entire plan. Therefore, the intention of the design is to be a part of a lively and fireworks urban space along the river, which is closely integrated with the urban design. This puts forward higher requirements for the overall control ability of the design team.
The landscape space characterization of “Chongqing West Bank” is based on the designer's aesthetic and perceptual spiritual activities. The participants' sensitivity to spatial changes will gradually construct visual perception and impression under the theme metaphor, and form emotional resonance in the extended spatial cognitive memory. The conceptual logic of the scene space of this project is aimed at this. The theme of "river flowing" is adopted to echo the concept of space, and scene language is used to stimulate the dialogue between people and space,
