Comprising 340 islands, Palau is blessed with abundant tropical rainforests and oceans, offering breathtaking natural landscapes that make it a precious and beautiful country in the Western Pacific, like a pearl. Since gaining full independence in 1994, Palau has not only attracted tourists from around the world but also looked forward to urban development and improved infrastructure through investments from global citizens.
In the language of Palauan, "Kerreos” is used to interpret the architectural name of the floating island, symbolizing a precious gem that has been passed down through generations and represents the inheritance of wealth in real estate. This development project aims to create a space of extraordinary charm with a pioneering spirit.
Following the natural topography of the harbors, the design of buildings and public spaces creates a landmark that showcases the breathtaking 360-degree natural scenery, as if emerging from a jewel box. With flowing curves and geometric and lattice elements, the structure is shaped and connected to the building and the public space. Light and shadow, water and greenery are delicately interwoven with the space, creating treasures that are cherished and passed down, like pearls and jade in the sea. From sunrise to sunset, the serene sea and surrounding mountains enhance the beauty of the entire site. During the day, the sparkling ocean outlines the skyline, while at night, multi-layered lights in dots, lines, and surfaces gorgeously adorn the space, shining brightly like stars. The beauty of the floating island turns time into a canvas, creating a legendary beauty of nature, culture, and architecture.
