In the language of Palauan, "Kerreos” is used to interpret the architectural name of the floating island, symbolizing a precious gem that has been passed down through generations and represents the inheritance of wealth in real estate. Following the natural topography of the harbors, the design of buildings and public spaces creates a landmark that showcases the breathtaking 360-degree natural scenery, as if emerging from a jewel box. With flowing curves and geometric and lattice elements, the structure is shaped and connected to the building and the public space. Light and shadow, water and greenery are delicately interwoven with the space, creating treasures that are cherished and passed down, like pearls and jade in the sea. From sunrise to sunset, the serene sea and surrounding mountains enhance the beauty of the entire site. During the day, the sparkling ocean outlines the skyline, while at night, multi-layered lights in dots, lines, and surfaces gorgeously adorn the space, shining brightly like stars.
