Chengdu ROEASY Hotel

ROEASY Hotel is located in the Qingyang District of Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It is situated at the intersection of Shudu Avenue West Section and Changshun Street, with People's Park across the street and a narrow alley in the Folk Street nearby. The hotel boasts a convenient transportation network and a pleasant environment. It is just a 10-minute walk from Tianfu Square and QinTai GuJing.

The hotel is a renovated existing building, and its overall design is guided by the principles of heritage, fusion, and innovation. Taking inspiration from the spatial forms of traditional Chengdu "alleyways" and "courtyards," these elements have been abstracted into geometric squares, which serve as the design language for the building's facade.

In the interior spaces, we have expanded a 3-meter square courtyard that extends from the second floor to the rooftop, allowing natural light to illuminate the interior. Bridges within the courtyard connect various guest room areas, creating interesting compositional relationships with the original beams interweaving in the courtyard.

The overall style of the hotel is modern and minimalist, with the design language extending from the exterior walls, incorporating geometric forms for composition. The main materials used include oak, white paint, micro-cement, black metal, and terrazzo. Through the combination of these materials, a clean and crisp visual space is created.
