This project is titled "Spirits talk·Linlong." The term "Lin" comes from the traditional Chinese cultural symbol "Kylin", which is a noble representative of the Chinese royal family, symbolizing auspicious light, wealth and prosperity. "Long" means crystal clear and auspicious. The two, when combined, are pronounced as "linlong", suggesting ingenuity and exquisite craftsmanship, highlighting the nobility of space.
The Spirits talk·Linlong project breaks the inherent shackles of Chinese and Western aesthetics. It integrates classical colors, Western aesthetics and traditional Chinese culture in the space, and adopts unique artistic techniques to interpret the exchange and collision between Chinese and Western cultures.
The space is dominated by malachite green, bronze and court red, with contrasting colors inspired by Chinese "enamelware". Enamel expresses the pursuit of art by Western aristocrats, and the passion and yearning for gorgeousness in the ancient East. Tracing the use of enamel colors, it highlights the design team's emphasis on integrating the Eastern and Western cultures and aesthetics in space design, and their pursuit of a sense of enameled dignity in color and texture.
The design of the staircase is inspired by the dragon, an animal in ancient Chinese mythology. The yellow light beam runs through the entire staircase, like a dazzling golden dragon ball. The designer ingeniously integrates traditional Chinese cultural elements into the space, which fits in well with modern design styles. The fusion and collision of Chinese and Western elements are ubiquitous in the space. Tang tri-color glazed ceramic horses are ingenious, European-style retro lamps are luxurious and gorgeous, and handmade wood carved drawing boards are true to life. The private rooms adopt 3D metal paintings, new court-style table lamps, traditional Chinese cloud patterns, Taiwan koji pottery full of regional characteristics, and brilliant gemstone glaze, showing a variety of rich Eastern and Western features.
