Shun

The site is a narrow, four-story new house. The name of the project is "Shun", inspired by a couple who love the mountains and forests. The name "Shun" means a high mountain hidden in the mountains, with a subtle shimmer in its understatement. The design team used triangles to express the image of the mountain range and took a variety of materials to craft the details. Finally, the light-colored walls and the warm texture of the wood grain flooring shape a comfortable and natural atmosphere. The design team integrated the mountains into the space through interior design and arranged the lines according to the client's habits. For example, the double routes kitchen, large dressing room, double sinks, and master bathroom. The comfortable and convenient plan satisfies the family's desire and imagination for a home. The project is named "Shun", which conveys the idea of a high mountain secluded in the mountains. The interior design follows a mountain theme, with the layout, materials, and planning all reflecting the imagery of mountains. Given the long and narrow site layout, the design team utilized functional designs such as openwork grilles and sliding moru glass doors to make the scale more comfortable. The smooth, straight lines also complement the mountain peaks. The project features large color blocks on each facade, which integrate stone patterns, wooden grilles, and special paint to create a vibrant representation of the steepness of the mountain shape. Additionally, the planning includes many triangular lines within the space, such as the living room ceiling, the TV wall, and the sliding door of the multipurpose room. The design team employed intuitive geometry to create a seamless look of contiguous mountains.
