At the beginning of the design of the exhibition area, we continue the construction of living environment and the translation of academic atmosphere of the overall design, and strive to create a place spirit with strong humanistic atmosphere and the community life scenes suitable for children to grow up, so as to provide better space annotation for the high-quality growth environment of children.
Floating island of wisdom
Upon entering the community through the gate, one can see the building as a floating island of wisdom. The design uses a detailed nodal treatment on the side of the building near the water, and the bottom protrudes about 500mm. The mirror-like landscape water is introduced under the building form, making the building appear to be suspended in the air, clear and warm. Or, it is like a modest gentleman floating on jade, forming a place spirit with cultural atmosphere. The mirror of water of the building surface sets off the floating island. A layer of transparent ultra-white glass encloses the surrounding landscape in a large range, diluting the sense of boundary of the space, weakening the boundary between indoor and outdoor, communicating with nature with a humble attitude and extending the vision to the greatest extent. The high reflective glass on the second floor isolates the trivial layout of the interior space on the second floor and replicates the outdoor landscape on the surface like a mirror, allowing people to feel the rhythm of light and shadow with the change of time. The combination of transparent and opaque elements brings new texture and tension to the space.
