The project serves a family of three. The client couple wants the design team to realize the Scandinavian style in a small space, but not in the standard white with wood grain. To fulfill their expectation, the design team adds the observation of the client couple and uses light colors to strike a balance between Scandinavian and minimalist design, presenting a warm space belonging to the family with lines and color blocks. Make good use of irregular space: To solve the storage problem in a small space, the design team plans many different types of cabinets on the wall, such as hanging, open, and closed to provide multiple storage. In addition, they raise the ceilings and take the high ceiling space in the dining room to arrange a place to store luggage. Functionality: In the small space, the design team combines the wall behind the sofa with a desk to make it serve as a compartment and be practical at the same time. Meanwhile, this clever planning can reduce the thickness of the façade between the areas and make efficient use of every inch of space. Moreover, the glass facilitates the lighting of the public area. These functional designs enhance the comfort of space and the convenience of living.
