The sales office of Huafa Jianfa · Manyun is located in Shanghai which is a self preservation residence jointly built by two powerful and stable state-owned enterprises.

The space design adopts the modern simple and refined oriental gardening approach, which is not rigid in structure and layout. The relationship between people and the environment is expressed based on the vision when visiting the garden which is pilled stone hill and water system layout. It takes the vision of pavilions, corridors, bridges and other elements, and trades the scenery with moving step; Although it is made by people, it is just like natural that uses design to guide the moving line, wakes up the senses with details, and constantly shapes the perception of guests as the garden goes deeper and deeper.

We hope to show oriental philosophy and artistic conception with modern design methods.

From a macro perspective, the architecture, landscape and interior are highly integrated that conveys the spirit in form. And it enters from the implicit oriental artistic conception to another space composed of modern craftsmanship.

In terms of layout, the design of the second entrance hall extracts the spiritual core of the Confucian theory of "ritual" what constructs the order of returning home ritual, and pays attention to the differences between the guest and the host, inside and outside. The simulated still water of metal partition and black mirror stone leads the space to depth. It is integrated with the waterscape of the outdoor courtyard, and the whole space is quiet and full of ritual.

In terms of details, we study materials and structures, create space with architectural blocks, convey poetic oriental philosophies, and elaborate details, which are independent but interdependent, to build integrity and continuity.

Besides, we refined the city's cultural heritage and regional characteristics into texture and implanted it into the space design which traced back to the millennium Chinese culture and containing a wonderful implication.
