BO YUE YUN TING

The canal connects economic development and civilization at the river bank in ancient times. It marks the people’s lifestyle and becomes a microcosm of historical and social evolvement. Located in Changzhou City, China, the project was built on the river and developed because of the river, so the designers deliberately intercepted the water flow into the space as the finishing touch. Using significant diffuse reflections allows people to wander in the field of floating light and enjoy the unique experience brought by visual aesthetics.
Entering the interior space, one will notice the gray marble and mirrored stainless steel planned as the primary spatial focus. Also, the gilded lighting design creates a luxurious and elegant atmosphere. On the other hand, the hand-blown art glass installation, with its unique texture, diffuses with the light, presenting a breathtaking visual experience. Leading to the conversation area, metal and wood are combined and decorated with geometric compositions to create a unique and comfortable space. Towards the water bar, the stone countertop and the lighting fixtures mix to reveal the beauty of movement and tranquility through the change of light and shadow. The clever use of smooth lines adds a sense of dimension and layers to the space.
For this project, the designer adopts a modern design expression and delicately introduces the image of the water flow of the Changzhou Canal into the space as the main element through the whole. A unique glass art installation is installed, and the light changes with the movement of people's eyes, presenting a variety of visual effects. Black and gold are interwoven to create a magnificent and elegant style, and greenery, symbolizing vitality and prosperity, is used as an embellishment to give the space vitality and aura energy. The refined and simple design combined with the inner luxury texture creates a pure and relaxing feeling of space, allowing people sitting in the space to enjoy a comfortable and comfortable atmosphere.
