Penghu Music Festival- Penghu Fun Light

After the Fireworks Festival, Penghu held the Music Festival this year for the first time. With the breeze, the festival attracts visitors to learn about the local culture and environ-mental resources of Penghu through the crea-tion of music and light environment. When the night sky falls, the flashing neon lights il-luminate the coast of Penghu, and the music rhythm starts, the night sky of Penghu is un-veiled. This Penghu Autumn Festival this year was created by the Co Square studio according to its topography, and with a nice route, visitors can freely stroll around the festival. The exhibition features 13 large-scale works with the themes of "wind, music, and light". Each piece is decorat-ed with colorful LED neon lights to form a thematic "light painting". Different from traditional lantern works made of bamboo or paper in the shape of people or animals, the design team used light to weave lantern paintings with eco-friendly LED neon light strips. For example, "Dancing Chapter" features a small octopus, a species unique to Penghu. This kind of octopus is known as the "gift from Mazu" in Penghu. Another lantern painting "Happy Ap-plause" is based on the theme of cactus growing near Penghu waterfront in the 17th century. The cactus, which is known as the "Red Apple of Penghu", has the charac-teristics of wind and cold resistance that echo the charac-teristics of Penghu.
