In this contemporary minimalist home, soft and shallow lines, the perfect combination of rigidity and softness, reflect the elegance and grace of classic European design. Without sophisticated color schemes, a pure color palette, natural stone, and transparent medium create a stress-free and relaxing sun-lit residence.
Upon entering the room, a light glow instantly settles a busy mind. The arched gray mirror at the end of the corridor defines the entrance area. Then, an elegant stone wall creates a vista. The combination of materials and the building of depth of space make the narrow space look larger and less confined.
The marble with gray and white pattern forms the main TV wall, while the stone flooring in earth-tone color adds instant warmth. Under the abundant light, the crystal texture of the stone radiates a gentle glow. The framed canopy creates the illusion of extended space, with thin lines spreading from top to bottom and toward the wall behind the sofa. Layers of wood molding add delicate details.
The open floor plan connects the living room and dining room. It not only brings natural light into the space but also increases emotional interaction between the residents. Black and white color schemes create a simple and stable dining atmosphere. The gray mirror on the top covers the elevator and is divided by metal trims to form geometric shapes, which relieve oppression of volumes. On the wall of the corridor, a square frame outlines the shape of the picture to display the owner's collections.
The first and second steps of the staircase are widened to provide ample space for walking. The warm wooden flooring leads to second and third floors, where private sphere is located. In the master bedroom on the second floor, the rustic stone pattern and mellow solid wood grains are harmonized to create a stable and soothing vibe. The diamond-shaped headboard cover and the large white space on the facade add softness into the space to balance the rustic accent.
