Yue Xiu Splendor 98㎡

Adhering to the design principle of “richness of modern life”, we have finished the design of the three-room plan with 98㎡ through modern, oriental, simple and natural artistic and aesthetic taste. In terms of the scenario richness, we have introduced such areas as disinfection area, mini bar, tea area, flower room and model display space besides the daily living functions. Considering the problem of messy space caused by enriched space distribution, the designers have skillfully weakened this problem through smart storage design. Wall-mounted cabinets are seamlessly integrated into the disinfection area at the hallway and the background wall of the living room, amplifying the proportion of storage and reducing the proportion of display. Embedded storage spaces are created with the balcony and the bay windows of the bedrooms, thus completing the design of the mini bar and the tea area. Wall-mounted display shelves are added in the children’s rooms for the display of their precious collection of models. A sunlight flower room is designed in the multi-functional room, where a desk and an easel allow the residents to enjoying the fun of artistic creation among flowers in addition to the fun of planting and collecting flower specimens.
A small space with 98㎡inherently means great limitations for function division. The property owners have two children, both of whom need their own space. As their first apartment in the city, it needs to realize a balance between functionality, aesthetic appreciation and spiritual life, which is the greatest challenge to this design.
We have realized the “richness of modern life” through the “compound interior space”. In the design of the sunlight flower room, various possibilities of the space were considered, thus shaping a multi-functional system for planting, flower arrangement, handicrafts, painting, coffee tasting, etc. Through the creation of a storage system making use of wall structure in the forms of embedded storage, wall-mounted storage and hidden storage, we managed to maximize the space for activities.
