Hangzhou Lvcheng Yuehaitang Life Museum

The project is located next to Hangzhou West Lake University, with "academy style" as the keynote, integrating the cultural architectural vocabulary of Greentown and modern design techniques to create a 15-17-storey low-density foreign-style residential community. The design focuses on harmonious dialogue with the surrounding environment, and the building volume, color and landscape interface naturally transition. The main entrance on the north side has a classical style, which echoes the aesthetics of adjacent buildings.

The project takes the "four-entry courtyard" as the spatial skeleton, integrating Chinese etiquette and French axis to construct a progressive homecoming ceremony sequence: the first entry is a symmetrical entrance courtyard, realizing the transition from city to garden; the second entry is a sinking courtyard in the center, serving as a community shared garden; and the third entry is a quiet pool garden, creating a quiet atmosphere before returning home. The spatial sequence gradually changes from open to private, translating traditional garden artistic conception with modern vocabulary, integrating stone, metal and other materials with local cultural elements, aiming to create a humanistic residence integrating French classical temperament and modern life aesthetics.
