Sunset Arch

This home is a sanctuary of warmth, love, and familial harmony, designed with a focus on arch shapes to symbolize the close bonds between family members. The rich caramel orange, reminiscent of the sun's warm glow, sets the home's theme, chosen specifically to evoke the warmth and romance of sunset hues. This theme is enhanced through different lighting settings, which simulate the soft morning light, the vivid sunset, and the radiant midday sun, illuminating the space with varied warmth throughout the day.

The original low ceiling height was creatively addressed using curved lines and lighting to soften the space and draw the eye to below 120 cm, creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The suspended air conditioning unit features bold integration with curved edges, using lighting lines to alleviate the visual pressure of the lowered ceiling. The entryway cleverly combines a storage cabinet with a wooden texture, seamlessly defining the transition between the entrance and living area.

In Asian culture, a mother represents both responsibility and emotional strength. This design pays homage to that role by featuring special lighting at every corner and focal point, not only ensuring safety but also symbolizing the emotional warmth of a mother’s love. Each light serves as a beacon, much like a mother always leaving a light on for her children. The home’s design, from the caramel arch shapes to the carefully curated lighting, creates a functional yet emotionally resonant space, celebrating the warmth and connection of family life.
