The designer adopted the existing dark tones to narrate the project, corresponding to the high quality the homeowners requested. Beguilingly, wood grains and decorative paint interweave into a compelling design. The faux white marble panel behind the TV wall increases a layering interest and colors with a cabinet. In addition, sleek metallic shelving with clear glass further elevates the airiness with balmy and modern touches in harmony.
The living room complements the dark tones of the existing kitchen furniture and doors, applying gray decorative paint to the walls behind the TV and sofa. Exquisite grains contribute to an eye-catching feature as soon as one comes in, and its smooth texture delivers a unique experience. In addition, the ceiling shadow gap design renders layering effects, while the curved shape in the entryway resolves the heaviness from the door side column.
On the right side of the main door, a two-part set of suspended cabinets is not just a piece of furniture but a thoughtful design that accommodates a drop zone on the lower section, catering to the homeowners' need for convenient storage space. The mirrored column on the left creates an expanding view and allows for a quick appearance check before the homeowner leaves the home. The kitchen bar, designed for cooking and working, perfectly meets the homeowners' living requirements. The shelf lighting in the metallic showcases not only complements the optimal textures of the display but also adds a touch of elegance to the design.
The designer comprehensively introduced building materials and analyzed their characteristics and carbon reduction efficiency at the beginning of planning. As a result, low formaldehyde, low carbon footprint, and Eco-friendly building materials collaborate to present a non-toxic and healthy lifestyle for both homeowners.
