The Chinese literati of ancient times preferred living in isolation, specifically in the serene mountains and verdant forests. For them, this lifestyle was more than just a way of living, it was a holistic approach to life that encompassed their philosophy and way of thinking. It was a sentiment that sought leisure, pleasure, and tranquility. The central theme of this project revolves around the idea of "de-marketing and returning the space to nature". To achieve this, we have incorporated elements such as water, air, sunshine, lush green plants, and humanistic art sculptures into the space. The result is a perfect balance between the spiritual world and the landscape, creating an ethereal and transcendent space that is soothing and rejuvenating.
The movement line in the space has been thoughtfully crafted to create a sense of seamless progression. Starting from the outdoor corridor and water area, the design seamlessly flows into the indoor reception lobby, sub-foyer, branding area, and sand table area. Each of these areas features narrow-frame glass sliding doors that can be opened and closed, creating a harmonious blend of indoor and outdoor spaces. This approach results in a cohesive spatial image that is both inviting and refreshing, with sunlight, air, and water flowing through to invigorate the atmosphere.
The objective of this project is to harmoniously merge the local architecture and surroundings by incorporating the elements of form, texture, material, and light into the design. The color scheme of the space is inspired by the hues found in the surrounding area, with a combination of turquoise and magnolia stone in clear sky blue, earthy tones, and silk white paint, all seamlessly blending with the environment. The project was carried out with strict adherence to construction standards, which included the use of precise and rapid limiters, hidden frame construction, flat embedded construction, linear drainage construction, precise installation, hardware selection integration, natural joints, construction methods, sample reworking and returns, wall construction methods, and lighting tests. These measures ensured the final completion of the project in an impeccable manner, accurately embodying the design concept of "returning to nature."
