The Flying Dreamer

The owner is a single man engaged in aviation industry, full of passion for travel, hoping that the home space can extend the inspiration of aviation technology, and personalized industrial wind color, to jointly create an unrestrained, comfortable and open sense of life.

Therefore, the designer creates the overall space with an industrial style, using natural elements such as bare brick, cultural stone and clean water mold on the material, and integrating curved lines of aircraft fuselage into the ceiling and wall shapes.

Plan an open public domain, and through the transformation and connection of materials to form a dividing line, and create a theme field of independent box feeling, while achieving visual extension and coherence.

The porch area integrates shoe cabinet, shoe chair and mirror to form a facade with screen function, where shoe cabinet applies iron mesh design to replace the door piece to achieve ventilation effect. A high floor is designed to highlight the core field of living room, and the back wall of sofa is combined with a world map to symbolize the open mind of traveling around the world.
The semi-high TV wall divides living room and dining room, and the dining room integrates the design concept of cafe. TV wall and semi-high cabinet form an independent field, with the imitation-old red brick modeling wall on the corridor to create a nostalgic industrial texture.
Master bedroom is paved with plain wall, continuing the industrial atmosphere of the public domain; dressing room is integrated with the study room, and the closed cabinet is replaced by an open hanger, while the L-shaped desk is extended on the other side to present a comfortable shape.
