Hangzhou Vanke · Junxi Water Villa

The "Water Villa," which has five floors and an area of 1142㎡, is situated on the bank of Mingyu Lake in Liangzhu Cultural Village. "Water" is regarded as a natural symbol and art as the supreme taste in this case.



The designers hope that lake, mountain, architecture, space and life co-exist in harmony and intertwined. Therefore, when drawing the blueprint of the living scene, they invoke the living mark engraved in the capital city of Southern Song Dynasty into the room, making the "taste of living" the ultimate goal for the space.



The vein of marble reflects the top of the mountain in the painting, making the banquet hall become increasingly open. The Italian brand B&B bench echoes the curve of the lake, and the sculpture installation "Star Picking" by Belgian artist Vrielinck. Ann merges art into the natural world, while a perfect perspective is formed with bright yellow and bronze, modern and classical style.



The bright modern colors, fashionable abstract patterns, simple geometric lines and classic modern materials convey the pioneering style of home life. The installation in the air is drawn from the shape of the lake and the mountain, so that the sublime mountains and the softness of the water linger in the restaurant, where residents can enjoy the harmony and happiness of their life.



In rooms, dwellers can appreciate the panoramic landscape, feeling at ease with the greenery. The light, shade, materials and lines create a rhythm of space, with a pleasant atmosphere permeating the area. The nearest natural scenery is visible in the outdoor balcony that makes getting close to nature a daily routine. The multiple functions of the balcony highly realize the ritual of life, where you can enjoy leisurely solitude with a cup of coffee, a party gathering with friends, or camping by the mountain with three generations, etc.



By doing so, the designers have created a living environment that can meet the residents' inner expectations beyond the function, exhibiting the symbiotic interaction between nature, art and life, and echoing with residents’ spiritual world.
