The residence is a special existence that can be shaped into a different spatial atmosphere with changes in the occupant’s state of mind. This is an interior design project for a residence. The designer not only adopts the openly shared living space design but also considers that the couple has two children, so two bedrooms are reserved and used as guest rooms. The overall space is mainly planned in white and gray tones, with paulownia wood tones, creating a relaxing living atmosphere and allowing the residents to enjoy a comfortable and enjoyable lifestyle. Entering the house, one will notice that the overhanging shoe cabinets at the entryway create brightness and extend the sense of spaciousness. The designers cleverly used the same materials to connect, extending from the shoe cabinet to the storage display cabinet next to the dining room toilet, all of which are covered with wood veneer, expanding the sense of space and guiding the visitors to the interior. According to the homeowner's needs for the living room, he wanted a spacious and relaxing activity area more than storage space. Therefore, the designer has simplified the configuration of the storage cabinets and only planned the window storage cabinets, TV cabinets, and cavity panels to reserve more space for the homeowner to add his living color. The TV wall is painted with a special gray color to bring out the mottled texture, bringing out simplicity, spontaneity, and grand style. Looking up at the ceiling, the designer drew inspiration from the work of artist Mondrian, forming a painting by interlacing the tracks of the magnetic track lights, making the seemingly simple ceiling a hidden mystery. The magnetic track lighting, which is easy to replace and can be remotely controlled in sections, can also meet the needs of homeowners who want to change at any time, facilitate maintenance, and save on renovation costs.
