"Luna" is divided into upper and lower floors, the main design is the bar, which serves "Tea Wine" cocktails. After the drinks, customers can then move on to the first floor to enjoy Sichuan cuisine. We have designed the restaurant façade with black steel window doors; within them are double hollow splints and double insulating glass windows in order to reduce the noise from the inside to the outside. In addition, we highlighted the façade with an antique Chinese architecture style eave that was made with plexiglas.
Customers can get an early impression of the design using materials from the Chinese and Western mix-and-match cultures. For example, the collision of Chinese-style blue and white porcelain with clear water concrete, the combination of rattan mesh and metal, and the combination of red bamboo with North American walnut wood. They all come from different parts of the world with different backgrounds and cultural representations, but when they encounter each other, it does not feel like a sense of incongruity; just like the "Tea Wine".

In G/F, we also designed a small Chinese tea house with bamboo roller blinds extending to all parts of the hall. That's because we put bamboo incense in the hall; we want everyone who passes by the bar to leave with a deeper impression of "Luna" from the bamboo aroma, by passing by the bar, we hung a few traditional hand-woven Chinese lanterns in the only elevator area upstairs. The lantern designs give off a very rich, traditional Chinese atmosphere, so we want to extend that atmosphere to the outside area. When people are looking through the windows, they can see the lanterns from the outside that telling people as a welcome sign.

After walking up the stairs, customers will enter a space with completely different lighting and vibe, from red lanterns to white lanterns, but on the contrary, green to red bamboo. Our main purpose is to create visual contrast with colors, but more importantly, it's about the overall visual and the feeling of harmony.
